The Kearsley School district has created a new athletic website and has included bowling on the website. Mr. Gaudard would like everyone to please use the school website from this point on. The website is KearsleyHornets.org . As of November 1st, 2010 this website will no longer be updated, please use the new website for all bowling information.

Getting ready for 2010-2011 season

We are eagerly anticipating the start of the new bowling season and getting some fundraisers lined up for the new season. Meet the coach is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, November 2nd at the High School at 2:30pm. Anyone that is interested in trying out or has any questions should come to this meeting to meet the coaches and ask any questions for the upcoming season. The bowling boosters will be selling Charity Mania football tickets again this season starting in early October and they will be having a bowling fundraiser on Friday, November 26th at 8:30pm at B's Bowling. Varsity girls finish 2nd in the state

The Kearsley Hornets Varsity Boys & Girls teams traveled to Canton, Michigan on March 5th for the State Finals. The Boys bowled good but finished in 11th place in the state. The girls qualified for match play with a 5th place finish. The girls then defeated Corunna and Charlotte to end up in the final match against Tecumseh. The Kearsley girls fought to the very end and came up 7 pins short to finish 2nd in the state. It was a great 2009-2010 season for both the boys and girls as they both won the Metro Conference Championship and qualified for the state finals. Congratulations bowlers!

JV Girls win jv championship tournament in sterling heights

The Kearsley JV girls team qualified 2nd overall in the JV championship tournament on Sunday, February 20th at Sunnybrook Lanes in Sterling Heights. They went on to defeat several teams in the elimination brackets and beat Marshall in the finals to win the JV Championship for the state of Michigan. Congratulations girls, a job well done!.
